About Us

Dr. Lamar SnowDr. Lamar Snow is a native of Mobile, Alabama. Dr. Snow received his medical degree from the University of Alabama School of Medicine in Birmingham, Alabama. Dr. Snow's extensive training led him to complete two general surgical residencies: first at the University Hospital in Birmingham, Alabama and second at The University of South Alabama in Mobile, Alabama. Dr. Snow is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Snow also is a member of the American Society of Bariatric Surgeons and serves on the Blue Cross Blue Shield Bariatric surgery expert advisory panel. Dr. Snow and his wife Glenda have two sons, one daughter, and six grandchildren.


Dr. Steve WeinsteinDr. Steve Weinstein is also a native Alabamian. Dr. Weinstein received his medical degree from The University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia and completed his general surgery residency at The University of South Alabama in Mobile, Alabama. Dr. Weinstein is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and also a member of the American Society of Bariatric Surgeons. In addition, Dr. Weinstein holds the appointment of Clinical Professor of Surgery, College of Medicine, University of South Alabama.


Dr. Jeffrey HannonDr. Jeffrey Hannon is a native of Mississippi. Dr. Hannon attended the University of Mississippi Medical School in Jackson, Mississippi. He completed his general surgical residency at UMC Hospital in Jackson, Mississippi. Dr. Hannon is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, a member of the American Society of Bariatric Surgeons, and serves as the Assistant Professor of Surgery, College of Medicine, for the University of South Alabama. In addition, Dr. Hannon is a member of the teaching staff for the University of South Alabama Residency Program.


Dr. Daniel LaneDr. Daniel Lane is a native of Mobile, Alabama. Dr. Lane attended the University of Alabama Medical School in Birmingham, Alabama then completed his residency at the University of Mississippi Medical Center, Jackson, Mississippi. Dr. Lane is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and also a member of the American Society of Bariatric Surgeons. In addition, Dr. Lane serves as the clinical Assistant Professor of Surgery for the College of Medicine at the University of South Alabama.


Dr. Forrest RingoldDr. Forrest Ringold is a native Alabamian. Dr. Ringold graduated from the University of South Alabama Medical School. He completed his general surgery residency at the University of South Alabama Medical Center in Mobile, Alabama serving as the Chief Resident in 2001-2002. Dr. Ringold is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, a member of the American Society of Bariatric Surgeons, and a Clinical Instructor for the Department of Surgery at the University of South Alabama.
